| Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Joe DiBernardo Jr. who was critically injured at Bronx Box 3-3-2997. Joe's father, Joe Sr., retired as Division Commander of the 6th Division. |

| I found this pic of Lt. Vinny Marino, Ladder 55, when he was a firefighter assigned to Engine 58 in Manhattan. The Vin-Man is the good looking one in the middle. During his long career, these were the only 2 companies Vinny worked in. He retired with over 30 years on the job. |

| This is a copy of an Email sent 02-02-06 from Bob Jewel, the son of Robert Jewel E71 1968-1975 My father was in engine 71 as mentioned above while the South Bronx was burning down. I still remember him coming home covered in soot and sweat cause he just wanted to get home to see us. He passed away 7/5/04 in case you wanted to update your records. He retired over 20 years ago, but he still died on the job. Next time you guys order "war wagon" tee shirts, let me know so I can get some for my brothers and myself. God bless. |
